Rules & Regulations
The golf cart must be operated in accordance with all rules set by Salty Island Waves, LLC and
the City of Port Aransas.
It is strictly prohibited for anyone without a valid driver's license to operate the golf cart.
I am responsible for the possession and control of the vehicle keys at all times when not in use.
Golf carts are motorized vehicles and may cause serious injury, property damage, or death if
operated improperly.
The golf cart must be used for transportation purposes only and in compliance with all local traffic laws.
The following are strictly prohibited: excessive speeding, reckless driving, ignoring traffic laws, or unsafe activity.
Passenger limits must not exceed manufacturer recommendations.
No alcohol consumption is permitted while operating the golf cart.
Golf cart must be refueled with gasoline at the end of the rental period and returned with the same fuel level received. Failure to do so may result in a refueling charge.
DO NOT drive the golf cart through standing water, flooded streets, puddles, or saltwater.
If the golf cart becomes disabled, stalls, or requires recovery due to being driven through water, the renter agrees to pay a $50 service call fee plus the cost of any repairs, parts, labor, towing, or damages resulting from water intrusion.
The renter is responsible for any damage caused by negligence, misuse, reckless operation,
driving through water, or failure to follow the rules outlined in this agreement.
Only approved drivers listed on this rental agreement may operate the golf cart.

Additionally, golf carts are not permitted beyond mile marker 40, with the exception of Cinnamon Shores North and South.
